Yes. For a one-off need — preparing a course, an internship report, a paper to finish — subscribe for as long as you need and cancel in 1 click once you're done: you never pay a month more than necessary, and your documents stay accessible afterwards. For regular use, the yearly plan (2 months free) works out to €3.25 / month.
Yes, from your account. A plan change takes effect immediately; a cancellation returns you to the free plan at the end of the current period.
Yes. Your .tex sources, images and PDFs are exportable at any time. Your documents are yours.
Nothing is deleted. Your sources, images and PDFs stay in your space, and you can open and download them as before. If their total exceeds the free plan's storage, only an addition that would grow that total further is refused, until you free up space. We do not delete documents when a subscription ends.
The .tex, .sty, and .html files as well as office documents (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) used in our service are very lightweight. 20 MB is plenty for multiple projects, even with a few images. Only very high-resolution images require more space.
Each LaTeX compilation uses server resources (CPU, memory, temporary storage). To ensure a fast and reliable service for all users, we limit compilation time to 1 minute per 2-hour window on the Free plan. The Perso plan raises this limit to 5 minutes per 2-hour window, and the Pro plan removes it.
