Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your use of "sarmate.net" service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service description
The "sarmate.net" service (the "Service") provides users with storage space either to create and compile
.tex files or to create pages in HTML format, subject to MB size limits stated for selected plan.
Users may upload files in following formats: tex, html, css, json, js, jpeg, png, gif, eps.
The Service includes a web IDE that allows users to create, edit and share tex, html, css or js files.
TeX files are protected and accessible only by user (and any users explicitly shared with by author). All other file types are publicly accessible on user's cloud space.
2. User conduct
Users agree to:
- Share only files or texts for which they own IP rights or have necessary permissions.
- Not use Service to store/distribute content that violates third-party copyrights, trademarks or other IP rights.
- Not use Service for illegal purposes or in breach of applicable laws.
- Not upload harmful, offensive, defamatory content or content that infringes others' privacy.
- Not attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or systems related to Service.
- Not attempt to obtain more storage than allocated under their plan.
3. Intellectual Property
Users acknowledge that all content uploaded remains their exclusive property provided they hold rights.
Sarmate.net acquires no ownership over users' files. Users must ensure their files do not violate any IP or other
third-party rights. In case of infringement, users are fully liable and shall indemnify Sarmate.net against any claim.
4. Liability
Sarmate.net strives to provide a high-quality Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or fully
secure operation. We cannot be held liable for any data loss, service interruption or any damage arising from use of
Service. By using Service, you agree to indemnify us against any liability, claims or costs resulting from
your breach of these ToS, including reasonable legal fees.
5. Changes to ToS
We may amend these ToS at any time without prior notice. You are responsible for reviewing them regularly.
Continued use of Service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
Privacy Policy
At Sarmate.net, we take data protection seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.

When you create an account on "sarmate.net", we collect:

- Date of birth (to confirm legal age)

Your TeX files are protected and accessible only by you, unless you share them with a third party. HTML/CSS/JS files you create, as well as images you upload, are public. Do not store sensitive or unlawful content.
5. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Your browsing on Sarmate.net is not tracked or analysed by cookies.
6. Your rights
In accordance with applicable law, you have right to access, rectify, request deletion of your data, or object to processing on legitimate grounds.
