Writing LaTeX code can be tedious

Our visual editors automatically generate clean, ready-to-use LaTeX code.

LaTeX offers great precision, but certain constructions require significant implementation time and are prone to syntax errors.

The proposed editors support in particular:

Frequently asked questions

What visual LaTeX editors does Sarmate offer?

Four free editors: TikZ graphics (lines, circles, polygons), tcolorbox boxes (theorems, definitions), tabular tables (with colors and cell merging), and tkz-tab sign/variation tables. Each generates clean LaTeX code, ready to paste.

Are these tools free?

Yes, all four editors are usable in your browser without signup. Sarmate offers an optional free account to save your work in the cloud, but no feature is behind a paywall.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser — no TeX-Live, no Adobe, no download. The generated LaTeX code is standard and works in Overleaf, TexShop, or a local distribution too.

Can I edit the generated code afterwards?

Yes. The output is plain LaTeX (tikz, tcolorbox, tabular, tkz-tab) — human-readable, not minified. Tweak it in any editor, change colors, add packages.
